BOOKS! BIKES! BROADS! EDUCATION! Help these ladies out anyway you can, super awesome cause!

jennwitte:

Dear followers of workdoodles,
I will have many many more book cover drawings coming soon, I promise! I paused for the past month because I have been committed to building a mobile library: F.L.O.W.
In order to build the bicycle and trailer we’ve designed to house the library, we have launched a fundraising campaign online. If you are a fan of the book cover drawings featured on this blog, take note! One of the donation perks is the debut of a pack of bicycle spoke cards featuring a variety those drawings.
follow this link to view the Feminist Library On Wheels: F.L.O.W. indiegogo campaign, and please share this any way you see fit.
Thank you for your patience and support.

PROWL OWL
(Jack)

You usually hear him across a lake
Like the moan of a distant loon,
But then, in a moment, his shadow will break
The white face of the moon.
Before he’s really left the sky
You hear him blow his beak
Under a nearby pine. His cry
Plays games of hide and seek.
Wherever you think his shadow may be
It’s hidden behind your back:
Jack lurks about, too dark to see
When the green of the trees is black
